The Candida albicans test is an allergy test from the blood. The test signifies the cow's milk mold allergen.


The test involves the determination of IgE antibodies in the blood and is performed when an allergy to candida is suspected. The advantage of of the test is that there is no need to discontinue antihistamines.

The test is performed in cases of suspected candida allergy antihistamines.

Blood allergen testing is also used for qualification for desensitization of Candida albicans allergy. Recommended is also used to diagnose allergenic agents in children younger than 4 years of age.
