Devices for breathing exercises

This specialist kit Pulmogain (Respiprogram) and Pulmolift (Respilift) is used to teach and perform breathing exercises – both during consultations with a physiotherapist (respiratory physiotherapy after COVID-19) and on your own at home.

Pulmogain (Respiprogram) is a device for breathing-in exercises.

The colours of the balls (from red to green) indicate the progress of the body's overall breathing capacity. The red colour marks the easiest level, the yellow colour – the medium one. Constant, repeated lifting and keeping the green ball up proves the effect of the exercises is positive.

Pulmolift (Respilift) is a device for breathing-out exercises.

The level of the exhaled volume is shown by the lift height of the yellow element in the centre of the device.

Why is it worth it?

• During your visit, your physiotherapist will show and teach you how to use the devices you have just bought so that you can exercise on your own at home
• With these devices you can both exercise as well as check the level of progression of the volume of air you can inhale and exhale; this shows how your overall respiratory efficiency has improved. The effects will be visible when the coloured elements go up when you breathe in or breathe out.
• You can practice either breathing in or breathing out – or both at the same time by easily combining the devices. 

The purchase of a set of devices for breathing exercises is essential for the delivery of the respiratory physiotherapy service after COVID-19.  

NOTE! Without the devices the first visit will have to be cancelled.

Subsequent visits are a continuation of respiratory physiotherapy after COVID-19 –  at these visits it is not necessary to repeat the purchase of the set of devices, provided that the patient brings the devices that have been purchased at the first visit.

Patients should bring the devices purchased at the first visit to the subsequent visits. If a patient fails to bring them, they have to be purchased again at the reception desk (price: PLN 59) or the visit will have to be cancelled with no reimbursement possible.
