A rheumatologist specialises in the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of rheumatic disorders, i.e. degenerative and inflammatory diseases of the bones, joints and connective tissue.

During the consultation, the doctor:

takes a medical history and performs a physical examination; makes a diagnosis; gives medical recommendations; prescribes medications; issues referrals for tests, examinations, consultations and hospitalisation; issues sick leave.

Important information

The consultation lasts 15 minutes. Make sure to arrive at least 15 minutes before your appointment. The service can only be provided at the medical facility indicated at the time of purchase.

During a telemedical consultation, the doctor:

takes a medical history and performs a physical examination; makes a diagnosis; gives medical recommendations; prescribes medications; issues referrals for tests, examinations, consultations and hospitalisation; issues sick leave.

During a telemedical consultation, the doctor will provide any services that may be carried out remotely. However, when taking a medical history, the doctor may decide that an on-site consultation is necessary to make an accurate diagnosis and recommend the appropriate treatment.

Note to patients: when you book an appointment, you are buying a teleconsultation – not a visit at a healthcare centre.
