The tests proposed as part of the package can help detect, for example, cardiovascular diseases, diabetes, anaemia, thyroid, kidney or liver diseases. Consider the package of preventive examinations, even if you have no visible symptoms of any diseases.

Important: Blood samples should be collected no later than 10:00 AM. If you are also providing a urine sample, ensure it is ready to give to the nurse at the time of collection. |
Urine test preparation
- Before collection, obtain a disposable urinalysis container, available for purchase at most pharmacies.
- Follow the steps below to collect your urine sample properly and ensure accurate test results.
Adults: how to collect a urine sample
- Collect the urine sample in the morning after a full night’s rest, before eating or drinking anything (including coffee or tea).
- Before a urine sample is collected, wash your hands thoroughly with warm water and soap. Clean the area around the urethra using the following method: women – clean around the vulva from front to back; men – clean the tip of the penis after retracting the foreskin. Dry the area with a disposable towel. This hygiene step is essential to prevent contamination of the sample by surface bacteria.
- It is necessary to collect a midstream specimen of urine (MSU): begin urinating into the toilet, then collect the middle portion in the container, and finish urinating into the toilet.
- The sample should be between 50 and 100 millilitres.
- Seal the container tightly after collection, store it in a cool place, and give it to the nurse during the home visit.
