Prof. Piotr Ciostek, MD, PhD

Professor Piotr Ciostek graduated from the Medical Academy of Warsaw in 1981. He completed two specialisations: in general surgery and vascular surgery, and obtained the titles of Professor and Doctor of Medical Sciences (PhD) as well as habilitation in this field.

The Doctor carries out:

• diagnosis and treatment of diseases related to the functioning of the blood and lymphatic vessels;
• general and vascular surgery.

• Medical Academy of Warsaw (1982);
• Specialist in general surgery (1989);
• Specialist in vascular surgery (2003);
• the title of Doctor of Medical Sciences (PhD) (1990);
• habilitation in the field of Medical Sciences (1998);
• the title of Professor of Medical Sciences (2005).

• Bródno Hospital in Warsaw – Department of General and Vascular Surgery (1982-2005);
• Head of the Department of General and Vascular Surgery at St. Anne Provincial Traumatology Hospital in Warsaw (2005-2007);
• Head of the 1st Department of General and Vascular Surgery of the Medical University of Warsaw at the Mazovian Bródno Hospital (2007-2022);
• Provincial Consultant for Vascular Surgery in Mazovia (2012-2022).
