A paediatric neurologist conducts consultations for patients suffering from nervous system disorders (e.g. epilepsy, headaches, migraine, syncope) and assesses the psychomotor development of infants and children.

During the consultation, the doctor:

takes a medical history and performs a physical examination; makes a diagnosis; gives medical recommendations; prescribes medications; issues referrals for tests, examinations, consultations and hospitalisation; issues sick leave.

Important information

The paediatric neurologist consults children up to the age of 16. The consultation lasts 15 minutes. Make sure to arrive at least 15 minutes before your appointment. The service can only be provided at the medical facility indicated at the time of purchase. At the appointment, the doctor may perform a per rectum examination, remove sutures and apply a dressing.

During a telemedical consultation, the doctor:

takes a medical history and performs a physical examination; makes a diagnosis; gives medical recommendations; prescribes medications; issues referrals for tests, examinations, consultations and hospitalisation; issues sick leave.

During a telemedical consultation, the doctor will provide any services that may be carried out remotely. However, when taking a medical history, the doctor may decide that an on-site consultation is necessary to make an accurate diagnosis and recommend the appropriate treatment.

Important information

The paediatric neurologist consults children up to the age of 16. Note to patients: when you book an appointment, you are buying a teleconsultation – not a visit at a healthcare centre.
