Bożena Walewska-Zielecka, MD, PhD

Professor Bożena Walewska-Zielecka is a graduate of the Medical University of Warsaw. He holds a first-degree specialisation in internal medicine, a second-degree specialisation in pathomorphology and is certified as a hepatologist by the Polish Hepatology Society. In addition, she was certified to operate a certified travel medicine centre in 2010. She obtained her doctorate in medical sciences in 2004. In 2019, she received the appointment for a Professor of Medical Sciences from the President of Poland. Professor Walewska-Zielecka's professional experience includes numerous internships abroad in Germany, Japan, Switzerland and Belgium, as well as a managerial position at the Pathomorphology Laboratory of the National Institute of Hygiene. In addition, Professor Bożena Walewska-Zielecka has experience as a lecturer and researcher at the Medical University of Warsaw. Professor Bożena Walewska-Zielecka is a member of the Polish Society of Pathologists, the Polish Society of Hepatology, the Society for Quality Promotion in Health Care, the Society for Maritime and Tropical Medicine.
