Andrzej Lehmann, MD, PhD

Andrzej Lehmann, MD, PhD, completed studies at the Medical University of Gdańsk. At the University of Warmia and Mazury in Olsztyn, he graduated from the Faculty of Medical Sciences, obtaining the degree of Doctor of Medical Sciences (PhD). He also completed the Management in Healthcare programme at the Higher School of Safety in Gdańsk.

At Medicover Hospital, the Doctor carries out:

• consultations and surgery for patients suffering from hernias and anterior abdominal wall defects;
• inguinal hernia surgery (primarily by means of laparoscopic transabdominal preperitoneal patch plasty [TAPP]), surgery of hernias of the anterior abdominal wall (using laparoscopic techniques);
• open surgery of parastomal and abdominal hernias – primary and recurrent.

• Medical University of Gdańsk, Faculty of Medicine;
• The University of Warmia and Mazury in Olsztyn, Faculty of Medical Sciences – the degree of Doctor of Medical Sciences (PhD);

• participation in humanitarian missions in Ukraine – educating local surgeons on modern techniques for repairing difficult hernias.
